Raise Your Consciousness

Do you seek the joy of the spirit? Seek it not without, seek it within and then it will be reflected in everything you see without. It is the state you are within that is reflected without. When you are depressed and disconsolate there may be tremendous beauty all around you, the autumn colours may be blazing forth in their full glory, the birds may be singing their songs of joy and praise, and yet you may not even be aware of them or see or hear any-thing of these wonders which are all around you, because your inner state is that of darkness, and that darkness is reflected in you, shutting out the light.
Raise your consciousness, open the windows of your soul. Begin right now to see the very best, open your heart and let the love begin to flow and everything around you will take on a completely new aspect – but remember it starts within you, never without, even though it may appear to start from without.

One of the co-founders of the Findhorn Community, Eileen Caddy, received guidance from the "still, small voice within" and shared it with the community for more than 40 years until she passed away in 2006. We continue this tradition as her guidance is as relevant today as it was when she received it.
