Meditating in the Nature Sanctuary
Dear Friends,

We have been having a lovely Summer here in Scotland and enjoying the sunshine and the influx of visitors and retreat, course and workshop participants. It is wonderful to hear how our programmes are positively and profoundly affecting participants’ lives, bringing their life purpose into focus. We have also been involved with the community to co-create and attune with Nature to prepare the site of the Main Park Sanctuary for the new sanctuary here in the Findhorn Ecovillage. We have already raised just over 70% of the funds and are hoping to reach the 100% needed to break ground and start building in 2022.

If you are an experienced chef who would love to work in the beautiful north east of Scotland at a spiritual education charity, now is your chance to work for us! We have a very exciting opportunity for a Head Chef who is passionate about cooking from scratch and local food production, who perhaps wants to step out of restaurants or contract catering to nourish our guests with vibrant, delicious meals cooked with love.

We are very excited about welcoming our new Director of Education, Daniel Greenberg, who will join us in September. Daniel has been a leading advocate for sustainability within international education and the ecovillage movement, serving as co-founder and past Board Member of Gaia Education, and as President of the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) from 2015-2019.

After visiting us for a week in July, Daniel is currently in his home country of the United States, awaiting visa approval. Daniel says: “It feels like I am completing a 30-year spiral, which started when I first arrived at Findhorn. While there I was inspired to create Living Routes and connect college students to more than 100 ecovillages around the world. I can’t imagine a more exciting privilege (and challenge!) than to become Director of Education at such a pivotal moment, not only for the Foundation, but for humanity.”

During his recent visit Daniel shared initial thoughts about his appointment with Dell Horler from our Communications team. Below are some highlights, or you can watch the full interview.

With love,
Caroline

Firewalking
Pilgrimage and Firewalk
11 September, 10.30am-3.30pm

The Findhorn Foundation is helping to raise funds to build the community’s new Main Park Sanctuary, through this special ritual – a pilgrimage around The Park, honouring power points on this sacred land, culminating in a Firewalk over hot embers.

You’re invited either to sponsor a firewalker through their JustGiving fundraising page, or to accept the challenge and become a firewalker yourself. You’ll be coached on setting up your own JustGiving page and attend a workshop to prepare for this sacred moment. Participation is £31 for the workshop, pilgrimage and firewalk.

You Can Change The World, One Heart At A Time
Eileen Caddy in the Park Main Sanctuary
Will you support the new Park Main Sanctuary?

As you settle into a sacred space, feeling the energy of Spirit embracing you, filling you, it feels that anything and everything is possible. The beloved Park Main Sanctuary was a sacred space that provided outer silence for cultivating inner stillness and made it easier to connect with Spirit.

Now after the devastating fires, our love is needed to recreate the sacred space that has supported countless people to connect more deeply to Spirit.
With your generosity and commitment it will happen!
